Archery Quick Tabs
It's a quick tab for a slavic draw. Covers the middle and ring finger but an index finger may be added. Made from buckskin.
Rings are made to keep the tab from flapping out of control when manipulating multiple arrows.
You will need a heavy or thick leather for these tabs as a thin leather will fold and flap around soon enough; the hole for your finger will also soon become loose and the tab will slip off.
This is a design for a Mediterranean draw - fine for single shot draw, bit not multi arrow hold.
Having tried many different self-made tabs and gloves, these are hands down the best—for speed, about 10 minutes to make; they don't get caught on arrows or flap around, and they cover what is needed. Use a tie thong and make the main finger hole as tight as comfortably possible. Tie across the finger slit.
