How to use a blanket (almost) as efficently as a mummy sac.
The advantage of a blanket, unlike a half zip mummy sac, is that the whole blanket can be oppened and easly let to dry; were as the half zip mummy sac must be turnered inside out at some point. A blanket or full zip sack is also more versatile.
To begin, have your pillow or other head rest object ready a half body length behind you, in position.
If you warp lenthwize, you can cover your head and feet, but you will make fewer wraps. If you wrap widthwize, you will be able to cover your head or feet, and will make more wraps - duh - but the choice is yours.
Stand holding the blanket at one corner with one hand and about 3/4ths the way with the other.
Scrunch the length of the blanket until the whole other side is at the floor, to your feet.
Begin wrapping the blanket under your arm pits, wrapping arround to the other end. Sit on your butt, like a bound person, and further tighen up the wrapped area around your legs which will be loose compared to the sung bound area up around your chest.
Slowly laying on your back, un scrunch the scrunched area, pinning the wrap with your back as you lay back, bringing the loose blanket up and over your head. Wrap close to your face and slide your hands down beside your body. Untighten the wrap with your arms to be comfortable.
