Huarache (running sandal)

 This is not really a bush tip, but it is an upcycle and environmental tip. This is my favorite type of non-moccasin footwear for the summer. You can't wear these in the bush. The top is not covered enough, and brambles and bugs will tear your top foot. I also use old car mats for the sole, which has had spines puncture my foot. I have seen thick leather used but have non which is veg tanned. You may be able to use old bilke tire but i have yet to try.

 You can run in these, which is great, and they take no time at all to make.

The lacing was pretty simple. and I used hide for the task.
