Food for Our Thought
What effect does not killing or ending the life of our meal have on us? There is an effect as most city people believe their food was never without its own life - this state is delusional and their behavior is effected by their delusion.
You see, to kill for food, I find, is a privilege. I and others, have been and are asked to start small. Do you want to perpetuate the life you are living? Are you willing to feel pain, to survive? OK, you will kill a rabit. You took care not to waste the last life. Here is your chance at something bigger.
I tan the hide. Others pay by taxidermy. It's possesion. To remind us of the life that was taken to make us breath today.
To not look at the life we MUST take to perpetuate the one we live. To not look at them in their life, to take their blessing, to prolong the one we believe is worth prolonging. Does this mean that those who do not have the fortitude to kill can not love themselves fully when they do not experience the immediate full cost?
