Shooting on the Outside of Bow While Hunting

Holding your arrows in the draw hand eliminates the need for a quiver, bow (quiver) or otherwise.

Being able to knock and shoot from the outside of the bow eliminates the need to have an arrow knocked while stalking or walking in the woods; in a well practiced archer, this helps ground hunting as there is less of a need to be ready for the shot with an arrow already knocked and alsways snagging on vegetation.

To be able to knock on the outside of your bow and shoot fast however means practice and a lot of it.

The technique is not necessary though. There are many successful ground hunters who shoot off the inside of the bow - these individuals have mastered the see without being seen, or they just shoot multiple arrows, really fast on the outside of the bow (or they just rode in on a horse). It seems that the hunters who do use the above mentioned skills come from cultures who were also, often at war with other humans.
